We're searching for a DevSecOps Engineer to join our Deployment team. You'll own the security posture of our infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines across radically different environments: AWS for our SaaS offering, multi-cloud deployments for enterprise customers and self-managed customer deployments.
In accordance with Austrian legislation, we are disclosing the minimum remuneration fixed for this position is : 60.000,--€ gross per year. The effective salary depends on qualification and experience and may be significantly higher!
What you'll do
Embed security into the full engineering lifecycle — from code commit through production deployment
Build and maintain automated security scanning integrated into our CI/CD pipelines
Own secrets management, container hardening, and secure baseline configuration across cloud and on-prem environments
Support compliance and audit readiness for government and regulated customers
Design secure network architectures for cloud, hybrid, or on-prem deployments
Respond to security incidents and vulnerability disclosures — triage, remediate, and document
Collaborate with product teams to catch security issues early in design
Your profile
Hands-on experience with container and Kubernetes security in production environments
Background working in or alongside regulated or government environments
Experience integrating security tooling (SAST, DAST, secret scanning, image scanning) into CI/CD pipelines
Strong Linux system administration with the ability to harden hosts and debug security incidents
Solid understanding of networking, PKI, and secrets management
Scripting proficiency in Python and Bash
Clear communicator who can document findings for both technical and compliance audiences
Ideally:
Experience with deployments in regulated environments
Completed or participated in compliance, SOC, or ISO certification
Familiarity with hardening OS, image builds, and Kubernetes distributions
Knowledge of GPU workload security for ML inference pipelines
Experience with OpenShift
